Carol Williams
was appointed to the position of San Diego Civic Organist in
2001 as the seventh Civic Organist beginning with Humphrey
John Stewart in 1915. Dr. Williams holds a Doctorate in
Music from the Manhattan School of Music. As Music Director
for the Spreckels Organ Society, she directs all its
programs including the Summer Organ Festival. In addition to
her duties in San Diego, she has a busy international
concert schedule that has included Westminster Abbey in
London and many other venues the world over.
